60 Years Since the '60s: How Far Have We Come?

How much better off is the Black community today than it was in the 1960s? How far has the community come economically, politically and socially? What about the impact of the criminal justice and educational systems? How does the Black community reach parity with the white community, and should that be the goal?

The panelists for this virtual presentation will be Angeline Butler, professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, former SNCC member and March on Washington organizer; Komozi Woodard, author and professor of American History and Africana Studies at Sarah Lawrence College; and Herb Boyd, award-winning author, journalist, and Free Speech TV correspondent.
